Teal to Toe 5K Run/Walk for Ovarian and Gynecologic Cancers
The Teal to Toe event is an annual 5K run/walk held at Connor Park in Fremont, Ohio (2220 Tiffin Road, Fremont, OH 43420). The event began in 2018 when four women who called themselves "The Sistas"—who met while undergoing chemotherapy for ovarian cancer—started the race to raise awareness and educate local communities about early warning signs of ovarian cancer.
Proceeds benefit the Ovarian Cancer Connection - Fremont Chapter. Registration is open for the 2026 edition and runs from May 15, 2026 through August 21, 2026. Early registration rates apply before August 10th; adult registration before August 10th is $25 and increases to $30 after that date. Youth registration is $15 before August 10th and $20 after. T-shirt availability is not guaranteed for registrations after August 10th.
The event program includes an opening ceremony, a survivor group photo, a silent auction, and awards, in addition to the timed 5K walk/run. The event materials note continued support from sponsors and local communities and that all proceeds go to the local chapter of the Ovarian Cancer Connection.
