About the race
The 37th annual TC10K takes place in Victoria, British Columbia, with the main event area located at Belleville St and Government Street. This community event features two distinct distances:
- 10 km (TC10K)
- Family Run (Thrifty Foods Family Run)
The 2026 edition follows the theme "Together, We Soar," focusing on community strength and collective movement. The event is open to participants of various abilities, allowing individuals to run, walk, or roll through the course.
A notable feature of the race is the medal series. The event is currently in the second year of a three-year collaboration with local Indigenous artist Jamin Zuroski. The medals awarded from 2025 to 2027 are designed to connect, eventually forming a single complete piece of artwork.
The TC10K serves as a fundraising platform for several organizations, such as the Victoria Hospitals Foundation, BC Cancer Foundation, and the Times Colonist Literacy Society. While online registration remains open until April 25, 2026, in-person registration is available during race kit pick-up on April 24 and 25. The event maintains a non-refundable registration policy, though individual transfers are permitted until April 22, 2026, for a small fee.
