Tartan Warrior Classic Obstacle Course
Tartan Warrior Classic takes place at Fit Body Farm, Wheatrig Farm, Kilmaurs, Ayrshire on 21 March 2027. The event offers competitive and non competitive waves and is licensed by British Obstacle Sports.
Distances available
- 10 km for competitive runners aged 14 years and over
- 5 km for competitive youths aged 10 to 13 years
- 5 km non competitive fun run for ages 5 to 105 years
The course mixes fields, short hills, burns (streams) and trails and includes around 50 obstacles spread across the route. Obstacles will involve crawling, jumping, climbing and swinging. The course is marked and marshalled throughout and there is at least one water point on course plus water and a snack at the finish.
Entries are limited to about 400 people with multiple timed waves for competitive and fun runners. Prizes include podium places for top finishers in competitive races and team prizes for both competitive and fun categories. The event also runs a short toddlers course and provides free photos from event photographers, face painting, an outdoor DJ and opportunities to meet a Highland cow and a piper.
On site facilities include portable toilets, food and refreshments and designated parking subject to a small recommended donation. There are no shower facilities.
