Tarentino Strong 5K
The Tarentino Strong 5K is a community 5K run and walk held at the Auburn Elks Lodge in Auburn, Massachusetts on June 14, 2026. The event commemorates the 10th anniversary of a fallen officer and provides an occasion for the community to gather. Activities include a kids fun run for age eight and under, raffles, a DJ, chip timing with live results, and free finish line photos.
The course begins in the Auburn Elks parking lot, continues onto Route 12, turns onto Warren Avenue and Bryn Mawr, includes a turnaround just past Leicester Street, and returns to the Elks for a total distance of 3.1 miles. Dogs are not allowed on the race route due to participant volume; special service animals are permitted. Strollers are allowed with walkers.
Divisions include a Uniform Challenge for law enforcement, firefighters, and military with specified uniform requirements, a Wheelchair Division for independent or pushed competitors, and a Team Division awarded to the entity with the most registered participants. Awards are given to top overall finishers, top Uniform Challenge winners, and age group winners across a range of age categories.
Early bib and shirt pickup is offered at partner locations and at the Auburn Elks. Custom race shirts are available to the first 1000 registrants. All entry fees are non-refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
