Course and race logistics
The course is a one-loop route that starts on Makiki Heights Drive near Halau Kumana School, continues uphill onto Tantalus Drive for about five miles, then follows Round Top Drive downhill for more than four miles before turning right onto Makiki Street and returning to Makiki Heights Drive to finish near the start. There is no separate packet pickup; participants receive their bib number on race morning.
An optional early start is available for participants who expect to finish in more than 2.5 hours. Early start participants must check in with the timer and bring a light source such as a flashlight or headlamp, and they are not eligible for overall or age group awards.
