Tampa Firefighters 5K

This event takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The address is 720 E Zack St in Tampa, Florida. Two distances are offered:

Individual 5K
1 Mile Run/Walk

All proceeds from the event benefit Camp Hopetake, a free, week-long summer camp in Tampa for pediatric burn survivors from across Florida. The event is described as the 15th Annual Pediatric Burn Survivor 5K.

For participants, the 5K is a chip-timed race. Registration for it includes a Dri-fit race shirt (guaranteed if registered by March 13, 2026), a bib, and a finisher medal. The 1 Mile event is not chip-timed, and registration includes a bib and finisher medal.

Awards are given to the overall top female and male finishers. Trophies are awarded for 1st through 3rd place for females and males in numerous age groups, from 9 and under to 80 and over. Pre-race packet pickup is available at the Tampa Firefighters Museum on the Wednesday and Friday before the race. Packet pickup is also available on race day.
