Talk Pirate to Me 5K/10K/Half - St. George
This is a pirate-themed running event on September 12, 2026 at Cottonwood Cove Park, held in conjunction with International Talk Like a Pirate Day. The event offers multiple distance options and a virtual option for participants who cannot attend in person.

All in-person races are chip timed. Finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles. The Half Marathon requires a minimum finish pace of 16 minutes per mile. A course map is noted as coming soon.
Awards are presented for each distance to the top three male and top three female finishers in traditional five-year age groups. Registration includes tiered pricing with regular, late, and race day rates, and participants registered by September 2 (except those who selected no shirt) are guaranteed race swag in their size; thereafter swag is available while supplies last.
The virtual option allows participants to run or walk at a location of their choice and submit results online; virtual finishers are eligible for awards and race swag consistent with the event's virtual policies.
