TALI Croft State Park Off-Road Duathlon
The event takes place on June 27, 2026, at Croft State Park in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It features multiple off-road duathlon distances, a standalone trail run, and a relay option organized by Tri And Like It.
The adult course begins with a trail run of about 3.5 miles through areas where horses still roam; participants may encounter horse droppings. The mountain bike section follows on singletrack with climbing, drops and water crossings and consists of two loops totaling about 10 miles. The final leg is an out-and-back trail run of about 1.5 miles through wooded trails.
The youth course starts on a 1-mile nature trail through mixed pine and hardwood and along Fairforest Creek. The bike leg is a single 3.5-mile mountain bike lap with climbing and drops. The finish is an out-and-back of about 0.75 miles on Crags Trail.
The high school distance comprises a 2-mile trail run, a 5-mile mountain bike ride, and another 2-mile trail run for a total near 9 miles.
Organizers will collect canned goods for a local Spartanburg food bank and list two cans per person as a guideline. Park entry fees for athletes and volunteers are covered by Tri And Like It. Early participants who have not previously raced a TALI event may receive a special gift. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
