Tails on the Trail - Cincinnati
Tails on the Trail is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Francis RecreAcres Park next to the Sharonville Shelter in Cincinnati, Ohio. Proceeds benefit SPCA Cincinnati, the local humane society since 1873. The event includes decorations, pumpkins, food vendors, live music, and contests, including a costume contest for pets.
Event distances and options include:
- 5K run
- 1 mile walk, dog walk, and kid's walk
Event entries include different items depending on the option. The 5K run entry includes entrance, a T-shirt, bib, timing chip, swag bag, one ticket for coffee and donuts, and one ticket for a Subway sandwich with chips; dogs are not allowed during the race. The Walk/Dog Walk entry includes entrance, a T-shirt, swag bag, and the same food tickets; dogs are allowed and encouraged during the walk. The Cat Nap option includes entrance and the two food tickets but does not include a T-shirt or swag bag. The Kid's Walk is for children 12 and under, includes entrance, a swag bag, one ticket for donuts, one ticket for a Subway sandwich and chips, one ticket for face painting, and one ticket for a bounce house; it does not include a T-shirt. Children 12 and under are free with a paying adult, one child per paying adult, and that free child does not receive an additional T-shirt.
