Tails on the Trail : Cincinnati
Tails on the Trail takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Francis RecreAcres Park in Cincinnati, next to the Sharonville Shelter. The event is presented by SPCA Cincinnati and proceeds benefit the organization.
The program includes a 5K run and walk plus family-oriented activities such as decorations, pumpkins, food, vendors, live music, and multiple contests, including a dog costume contest. Registered participants receive a T shirt; children 12 and under are admitted free with one paying adult (one child per paying adult; this does not include an additional T shirt). There is an option to organize fundraising teams.
Registration information: registration opens June 29, 2026. Individual registration is $30 through September 1; after September 1 the individual registration fee is $35.
Rules and pet care notes for attendees: dogs must be leashed and have current vaccinations and rabies shots; dogs not trained to walk on a leash must be confined in a carrier. Female dogs in heat and dogs that require a muzzle should not be brought. Water for pets will be provided community bowl style; attendees who need a separate drinking container for their pet should bring one. Attendees are expected to clean up after their pet. Retractable leashes are not permitted; a limited number of leashes will be available for purchase. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
