Taco Fest Taco Trot
The Taco Trot is a 5K run of 3.21 miles held on September 5, 2026, in Wichita Falls, Texas. The event raises funds for scholarships for local students and is described as family-friendly. Participants are invited to wear taco-themed attire such as taco hats, serapes, sombreros, or costume shirts; prizes or shout-outs are planned for the most festive outfits.

All registered participants receive one entry into Taco Fest and other event goodies. Registrants who sign up before August 21 receive a Taco Trot shirt in their selected size; those who register after August 21 receive a shirt from available inventory.
Registration opens July 22, 2026 and closes August 21, 2026. The stated registration fee is $30. After the run, Taco Fest takes place on the same Saturday afternoon at Bud Daniels with tacos from local vendors, music, and community activities.
