Tacky Turkey Sweater 5k
The event is a Thanksgiving-themed 5K held around Green Lake Park in Seattle. It takes place on the east side of the Green Lake Community Center with the Start/Finish located outside the Center. Participants may run or walk and every pace is welcome.
The event includes a custom finisher medal made by Ridgeway Woodworks. The medals are Woodles, produced from reclaimed wood to reduce metal waste; the organizer notes that almost all reclaimed material stays out of the landfill. A long-sleeve race shirt is provided with guaranteed size and availability by 11/2/26.
Free professional race photos and Thanksgiving-themed photo opportunities are part of the event. Race swag is available while supplies last, and finish-line goodies and post-race photos are offered after participants complete the course.
