Tackle The Stigma 5K and 2.5K
Tackle The Stigma is a community run and walk held at Shepherd Hill Regional High School in Dudley, MA on September 27, 2026. The event is organized by the Shepherd Hill Cheerleading program and the DCRSD community to raise funds and awareness for mental health support services.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to JAK-L and Brake the Silence. The course runs through the grounds of Shepherd Hill Regional High School and Dudley Middle School, with the start and finish on the school track. Terrain includes a mix of road and grassy areas. Awards are presented to the top three finishers.
Distances offered:
- 5K run, double-loop course through the school grounds
- 2.5K run or walk, single-loop course
Attendees can expect local vendors, food trucks, raffles, event t-shirts with a registration deadline to guarantee a shirt, ample parking, and restroom facilities including porta potties and access to the school.
