About the race
The Sydney Half is a road running event held at Sydney Olympic Park, NSW, Australia on Sunday 13 September 2026. The event program features multiple distance options and a short family run, all using AIMS certified courses that loop around the Sydney Olympic Park precinct and finish on the main athletics facility.
Distances offered:
- 21.1 km Half Marathon on an AIMS certified course
- 10 km run on an AIMS certified course
- Family Fun Run, approximately 2.5 km
The event includes elite fields and an elite wheelchair category. A finisher medal is awarded to every athlete who crosses the finish line. Organisers enforce a course cutoff of 3 hours 30 minutes (an average pace of 10 minutes per kilometre); participants who do not reach 14 km within 2 hours 20 minutes will be unable to continue.
