About the race
The Sydney International Regatta Centre 5K, 10K & Half Marathon is a chip-timed running event held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre in Castlereagh NSW. The courses are described as flat and fast and are marked with distance signs, arrows and marshals positioned around the route. Included with entry are a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies and a secure bag drop in the event village. A water station is provided on each lap of the course; the 5K passes the station once, the 10K twice and the Half Marathon four times.
Water is supplied in paper cups. The venue sits near Penrith Lakes and the Lower Blue Mountains and features open parkland around the regatta centre. There is free parking on site with a walk of approximately 800 m to 1 km from the parking area to the event village; drivers are asked to follow car park signage and marshal instructions. Toilets are available in the event village and are also located on each lap of the course. Spectators are welcome and are advised that the event village provides views of the start, finish and runners on each lap.
