Sy-5K takes place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Keller Town Hall, 1100 Bear Creek Pkwy., Keller, TX 76248. The event is organized by Run Different and supports local charities, including Encounter Church (Fate). The organizer will donate 15% of all profits and 100% of all donations to that church.
Race events and entry
- Kid's Dash : short 100–200 m sprint, free entry
- 5K : timed event, registration fee listed as $42
- 2 Mile : untimed event, registration fee listed as $20
- Virtual Option : fee listed as $40; shirt and medal shipped the week of the race
Registration notes: certain events have registration deadlines and price changes. The 5K and 2 Mile fees increase after January 2, 2026. Kid's Dash and the virtual option have registration open through January 10, 2026. Register by December 27 to guarantee t-shirt size for 5K and 2 Mile.
Awards and services
Registered participants in the 5K and 2 Mile receive an event-themed t-shirt and a finisher medal. The 5K has age-group awards awarded four deep for male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and masters categories also receive overall medals. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. Volunteers receive a code for a free race entry as a thank-you.
