Swoop the Loop 5K - Event details
Swoop the Loop 5K takes place on the University of North Florida campus at the JB Coxwell Amphitheater in Jacksonville, FL on January 9, 2027. The event offers two distances and is open to runners and walkers of all ages and experience levels.
The event includes:
- 5K race on UNF campus
- 1 Mile run/walk for participants of all ages
Registered participants receive an official race t-shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three overall men and women, top masters male and female, and the top three finishers in each male and female age group from 10 & under through 80 & over. The event lists pre-race activities, music during the event, and opportunities to connect with local businesses and campus supporters.
Team registration is available; a Team Leader creates the team during registration and others join by selecting the existing team name. Packets are available for pickup at the 1st Place Sports Baymeadows location on January 8; unclaimed packets will be available at the Amphitheater on race morning starting at 6:30 AM.
