Swiss Wine Festival Vevay River Run 5K
The event offers a 5K running event and a 5K walk in Vevay, Indiana. Packet pickup is located under the shelter house next to the finish line in Paul Ogle Riverfront Park. Free parking is available immediately next to the festival entrance one block north of the park.

The 5K course begins at the edge of the Ohio River, proceeds down Market Street, circles the town of Vevay, and finishes back at Ogle Riverfront Park. The route is on hard surface streets and is described as flat.
The run is timed. Awards are given to the top finisher in each of seven age categories for male and female divisions and to overall male and female winners. Age brackets are: 14 and under, 15 thru 18, 19 thru 29, 30 thru 39, 40 thru 49, 50 thru 59, 60+. A random drawing for prizes is held for all participants after the event.
The walk is a competitive event with awards for the top male and female walker. There are no age categories for the walk.
Volunteers from the local high school cross country team operate the race. Proceeds support young runners by helping them stay active and covering season costs.
The race takes place alongside the Swiss Wine Festival, which includes food booths, entertainment on three stages, arts and crafts, a grape stomp, amusement rides, a grand parade, fireworks, and riverboat cruises. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
