The Swiss Wine Festival Vevay River Run 5K takes place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Vevay, IN as part of the Swiss Wine Festival. The event offers two entry options and a fixed entry fee of $20. Registration fees increase after August 12, 2026.

Course and logistics
The course starts at the edge of the Ohio River, follows Market Street, circles the town of Vevay, and finishes at Paul Ogle Riverfront Park. The route is on hard surface streets and is described as flat. Packet pickup is under the shelter house next to the finish line in Paul Ogle Riverfront Park. Free parking is available next to the Swiss Wine Festival entrance area one block north of the park.
Competition, awards and use of proceeds
All runners will be timed. Awards for the run are given to the top finisher in each of seven age brackets for male and female divisions, plus overall male and female winners. Age brackets are: 14 and under; 15 through 18; 19 through 29; 30 through 39; 40 through 49; 50 through 59; 60 and over. The walk awards the top male and top female walker only and has no age categories. A random drawing for prizes will be held for participants. The race is organized by local high school cross country volunteers and proceeds support the team’s season expenses. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
