Swindon Half Marathon - 27 September 2026
The Swindon Half Marathon takes place in Swindon on Sunday 27 September 2026 and is organised by RunThrough in support of Prospect Hospice. The event base is listed as Swindon Running Events at 28 The Birches, Swindon.
The course is predominantly on closed roads with some sections on public paths. The route passes through Swindon and surrounding countryside, including the villages of Wanborough, Badbury and Medbourne. The profile is mostly flat for the first five miles, becomes undulating between miles five and ten, and finishes with a downhill section.
Each kilometre on course is marked with distance flags. Marshals are positioned around the route to guide and cheer participants. After the race there is an event village with food and drink options and post-event goodies, including free items provided by event partners. Finishers receive a unique medal.
Event options include the ability to add an official event t-shirt at checkout for a discount of more than 30 percent; the t-shirt is printed with the event logo and is supplied in partnership with RT Kit. Organisers have noted sustainability as a priority in event planning. Entrants receive a confirmation email after entry and further event information is sent closer to the date.
