Event overview
Santa's Scamper is an annual Santa-themed fun run held in Calne, Wiltshire. The next event is scheduled for 13 December 2025 at Calne Community Campus, White Horse Way, Calne SN11 0SP. The route starts and ends at the campus and runs for approximately 4 km through the town centre. The event is described as a fun run and not a race. After the run there is an after-party area with charities, festive food and hot drinks, and a guest choir.
Entry, charities and practical information
Previous editions have supported charities such as Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Dorothy House, Hope for Tomorrow, Barnardo's and Hannah's Trees and have raised over £13,000 to date. Charities for the 2025 event will be announced nearer December 2025. Entry fees and categories are: Adult (15+) £12; Youth (9-14) £12 (must be accompanied by an adult); Child (5-8) £12 (must be accompanied by an adult); children under 5 free (no suit or medal provided, must be accompanied by an adult). Each paid entry includes a Santa suit and a finisher's medal; suit size is determined by the selected entry category.
