Swimrun Australia Sydney North
Swimrun Australia Sydney North is a point-to-point swimrun that starts at Clontarf Reserve and finishes near Queenscliff, running along Sydney’s North Harbour and Northern Beaches. The course passes coastal national park trails, beaches and harbour swims, with named landmarks including Dobroyd Head, Forty Baskets Beach, Manly Wharf, Little Manly, North Head and Shelly Beach.
Three course options are offered:
- Ultra: 26.5 km total, 4 km swim, 22.5 km run, team only, 17+ years
- Enduro: 17.7 km total, 2.65 km swim, 14.5 km run, solo or team, 15+ years
- Experience: 9.55 km total, 1.85 km swim, 7.7 km run, solo or team, 15+ years
The event includes on-course nutrition, free on-course and finish line photos, live tracking and safety support. The organiser is Aus Tri-endorsed. Minimum age for entry is determined by the athlete’s age on 31 December 2026. Basic swim prerequisites are specified; participants in Experience and Enduro should be able to swim 1,000 metres continuously in open water. Enduro entrants should also be able to hold a specified swim and run pace.
Cut-off times apply for each course and staff may remove participants for health or safety reasons. The event is point-to-point; athletes are responsible for travel to the start and organisers provide gear transport from start to finish.
