Swimrun Australia: Sydney North
Swimrun Australia: Sydney North is a point-to-point swimrun through Sydney’s North Harbour, running from Clontarf Reserve and finishing at Queenscliff in the Manly area. The route passes coastal national park trails, beaches and headlands including Dobroyd Head, Forty Baskets Beach, Manly Wharf, Little Manly, North Head and Shelly Beach.
The event offers three course options:
- Ultra - 26.5 km total, 4 km swim, 22.5 km run, team only, 17+ years
- Enduro - 17.7 km total, 2.65 km swim, 14.5 km run, solo or team, 17+ years
- Experience - 9.55 km total, 1.85 km swim, 7.7 km run, solo or team, 15+ years
Participants are grouped by age and gender categories, and the event includes the Australian Swimrun Championship component for competitive teams. Age is determined on 31 December 2026 for category assignment. Minimum experience and fitness requirements apply: both Experience and Enduro entrants should be able to swim 1,000 metres continuously in open water; Enduro entrants should also hold a 2-minute/100m swim pace and a 10-minute/1km run pace.
On-course services include nutrition stations, live tracking, safety and medical support, free on-course and finish photos, and event endorsement by AusTriathlon. Logistics reflect the point-to-point format; event organisers transport participant gear from start to finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
