6th Annual Swim Run Done Aquathlon
The Swim Run Done Aquathlon returns to St Johns, Florida, for its sixth annual edition. This multisport event takes place at Beachwalk and combines swimming and running in a continuous format. The competition is limited to a field of 200 athletes to ensure a controlled environment for all participants.
The event consists of two segments:
- 1/2 mile swim
- 3.1 mile (5k) run
The swim takes place first, followed by a transition to the run portion. A dedicated transition area is provided for athletes to move between the disciplines. Participants must wear timing chips on their right ankle throughout the event. Swim caps are provided for the first leg, and race bibs must be displayed during the run. While the use of the transition area is not mandatory, all athletes must pass through it to ensure their split times are recorded.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additionally, the event recognizes top performers across various age groups, starting from 19 and under and continuing in five-year increments up to 70 and over. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by the specified April deadline. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
