Event Overview
The Swedish Days Lopp is a community athletic event held in Geneva, Illinois, as part of the broader Swedish Days Festival. The festival celebrates the heritage of Swedish immigrants in the region with various activities including food stands, a carnival, and entertainment. The race takes place at the Gunnar Anderson Forest Preserve and is presented by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce.

Event Logistics
A pre-race packet pick-up is held at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles a few days before the event. On the morning of the race, packet pick-up and registration are also available at the Gunnar Anderson Forest Preserve. Participants in the Kids Dash receive a finisher's medal and a Viking helmet, though they do not receive a race shirt. Viking helmets are also available for purchase for other participants.
Recognition and Awards
The event recognizes top finishers in various categories. Awards are presented to the first place overall male and female runners. Additionally, awards are given based on age groups for both male and female participants: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
