Sweat, Swat ‘n Swear is a trail running event on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Holder Mine Campground, 4399 Trail 10, Inverness, FL 34452. The event offers the following distances:
- 50K
- 25K
- 10 Miler
All distances start and finish at Holder Mine Campground and each is a single loop using the A, B, and C loops of the Citrus Tract in the Withlacoochee State Forest.
Course and aid
Trails will be marked with orange, pink, and white tape and occasional signs. Aid and hydration stations are placed along the route, with water-only stations roughly every 5 miles and staffed aid stations with food approximately every 8 miles. Aid station supplies include water, Roctane, soda, pickles, chips, PB&J, fruit, and ice. There are no facilities on the course. Participants are required to carry a handheld, waist pack, or hydration pack.
Logistics
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before and the morning of the race at Holder Mine Campground. Drop bag details and drop bag return procedures will be announced; runners are asked to use small bags and label them. Camping at Holder Mine Campground is available through Reserve America; reservations must be made by phone. The race cut-off time is 4:30 PM. Every finisher receives a finisher’s award and a post-race picnic will follow at the campground. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
