Sweat Hot Oklahoma Summer Trials

The event is the fifth and final edition held on July 25, 2026 in Nowata, Oklahoma at 707 W Osage Ave. It features timed endurance events and a shorter road 5K. Registration closes on July 18 at 11:59 PM CT.

  • 12 hour event
  • 6 hour event
  • 5K run

The 6 hour and 12 hour competitions use a roughly 3.3 mile loop with about 60 feet of elevation gain. The loop surface is approximately 60 percent asphalt and 40 percent gravel, with some shaded sections along a county road. The course is not closed to traffic, and signage will be used to alert vehicles.

Participants in the timed events run as many complete loops as possible within their allotted time; only complete loops count. If competitors tie on completed loops, the fastest final loop determines placement. The 5K starts separately for safety, follows a single loop, and finishes on the track.

Aid is provided with one fully stocked station at the start and finish and an on-course station offering water, sports drink and ice, providing cold water roughly every 1.6 miles. Food will be available throughout the day including BBQ, quesadillas, watermelon and event hot dogs.

Awards are given to first, second and third place male and female in each event. All finishers receive a finisher medal on a lanyard and a t shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
