Swarthmore Rotary Charity 5K and Kids' Fun Run
The Swarthmore Rotary Charity 5K is a community road run through the tree-lined streets and neighborhoods of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. The running events are part of the Swarthmore Rotary Charity Fun-Fair, which also features kids’ activities, live entertainment on multiple stages, food trucks, and a Mac and Cheese cookoff. Funds raised support Rotary local and international grants and projects.
The event includes awards for the first three male and first three female finishers overall and the first three male and female finishers in eight age groups: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and above. Team participants are also eligible for awards, with special prizes for teams from charities participating in the Fun-Fair. Refreshments will be served after the race.
Sponsor benefits include a draft ticket for runners aged 21 and over provided by the Gold Sponsor Ship Bottom Brewery, located in Swarthmore. Entry fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $35 on race day; the Kids’ Fun Run fee is $10 and includes a wristband for unlimited use of the Fair inflatables, excluding the bungee jump.
