The Hateful 8 Ultra (the winter Edition)
The Hateful 8 Ultra is a looped endurance event held on Saturday 3 October 2026 at Bridgend and District Model Engineering Society, Fountain Road, Aberkenfig, Tondu, Bridgend, CF32 9BZ, United Kingdom. The format challenges participants to complete as many laps as possible of a 9 Mile route within an 8 hour time limit.
The course runs over mixed terrain. It includes a steep hill, a road section with extended views, and a downhill forestry trail that can be technical under certain conditions. The route has notable elevation gain.
Entry is restricted to people aged 18 to 75 inclusive on the event date. Entry fees listed are: Entry only £50.00 and Entry with T-shirt £77.00. Entries open 5 October 2025 and close 2 October 2026. The event organizer is Mad Running Junkies.
On-site facilities and services noted for participants include car parking, toilet facilities, hot and cold drinks and snacks, a medical team, event volunteers, and a bespoke medal or trophy plus a swag bag.
