The Hateful 8 Ultra Loop the Winter Series
The Hateful 8 Ultra is a timed ultra-distance running event. Participants attempt to complete as many laps of a 9-mile (approximately 14.5 km) mixed-terrain loop as possible within an 8-hour time limit.
The course features a mix of surfaces and elements. These include a significant hill climb, a road section with scenic views, and a downhill forestry trail that can be technical in places. The route is described as having considerable elevation.
The event venue is the Bridgend and District Model Engineering Society on Fountain Road in Aberkenfig, Bridgend.
The entry fee covers several inclusions for participants. These are parking, toilet facilities, a finisher's medal or trophy, a swag bag, hot and cold drinks, snacks, on-site medical support, and volunteer assistance.
Participants must be between 18 and 75 years old on the event date. There is an option to purchase event entry cancellation insurance (XCover). The event organizers are Mad Running Junkies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
