The Hateful 8 Ultra (the winter Edition) takes place on 3 October 2026 at Bridgend and District Model Engineering Society, Fountain Road, Aberkenfig, Tondu, Bridgend CF32 9BZ. The event is organised by Mad Running Junkies. The format is a 9-mile loop that participants attempt to run as many times as possible within an 8-hour time limit. The course is mixed terrain, including a notable hill, a road section with extended views, and a downhill forestry trail that can be technical on some days. The course has significant elevation.

Age limits are 18 to 75 years inclusive on the event date. Entry options listed are:

Entries open 5 October 2025 and close 2 October 2026. The event provides car parking, toilet facilities, a medal or trophy, a participant bag, hot and cold drinks and snacks, medical cover, and event volunteers.
