Event overview
The Hateful 8 Ultra (the winter Edition) is scheduled for 3 October 2026 and is organised by Mad Running Junkies. The event uses a 9 Mile loop that participants attempt to run as many times as possible within an 8-hour time limit. The course is mixed terrain and includes a steep hill, a road section with notable views, and a downhill forestry trail that can be technical. The route has significant elevation. Minimum age is 18 and maximum age is 75, measured on the event date.

Entries open on 5 October 2025 and close on 2 October 2026. Entry options listed are: Entry only £60.00 and Entry & T-shirt £87.00. The event provides parking and toilet facilities, medical cover, hot and cold drinks and snacks, a bespoke medal or trophy and a swag bag. Volunteers are used at the event and volunteers may be offered free entry to one event.
