Event Overview
The Hateful 8 Ultra (the winter Edition) is a loop-based endurance event held in Tondu, Bridgend. Participants run a specific 9-mile route as many times as possible within a strict 8-hour time limit. The event is open to runners between the ages of 18 and 75.
Course Details
The course features mixed terrain that includes a combination of road sections and off-road paths. The route includes a steep hill and a downhill forestry trail section. The terrain is described as having significant elevation and some technical segments on the trail portions.
Location and Facilities
The event is based at the Bridgend and District Model Engineering Society on Fountain Road. Participants have access to several on-site amenities and services:

All finishers receive a bespoke medal or trophy and a swag bag. The event is organized by Mad Running Junkies and focuses on a community atmosphere supported by a team of volunteers.
Registration Information
The registration fee covers entry to the event, with an optional higher tier that includes an event T-shirt.
