The Hateful 8 Ultra the winter Edition
The Hateful 8 Ultra is an endurance event held on Saturday 3 October 2026 near Bridgend at the Bridgend and District Model Engineering Society. The event uses a single loop of 9 miles that participants attempt to run as many times as possible within an 8 hour time limit. The course is mixed terrain and includes a steep hill, a road section with notable views, and a downhill forestry trail that can be technical at times.
Entry is for participants aged 18 to 75 inclusive. Entries open Sunday 5 October 2025 and close Friday 2 October 2026. Entry options include standard entry and entry with a T-shirt; fees are listed in pounds sterling. Entry is managed through SiEntries and requires competitors to log in or register with that system.
The event is organised by Mad Running Junkies. Support on the day includes parking, toilet facilities, hot and cold drinks and snacks, medical cover, volunteers, and a bespoke medal or trophy and a swag bag for participants. Volunteers may be eligible for a free entry to one event. There is an option to purchase XCover which may allow a refund in certain circumstances.
