Logistics and services
The course is described as fast and flat. There will be two water stations on the course: at the halfway point (5 km) and at the finish. Toilets are available near the start and finish and at several locations along the route. First aid is provided by St John’s Ambulance volunteers and a team of paramedics, with a base at the finish. Volunteer stewards will be located on the course to monitor, direct and assist runners.
Entries close when full and there is no on-the-day registration for the main 10k. Race numbers may be transferred via the event's Njuko member dashboard for a fee; unauthorised transfers or sales may lead to disqualification. Every finisher receives a bespoke Swansea Bay 10k medal. Environmental measures include electric race vehicles, recycling of materials in line with Welsh Government legislation, recycled plastic bottled water, and an optional Trees Not Tees tree-planting alternative to receiving a T-shirt.
