Race details
Race categories include a 5K Run, 5K Walk, Para Athlete division, and a 1 Mile Fun Run. The 1 Mile Fun Run is free and is scheduled at the conclusion of the outdoor platform program, before the free community picnic. Chip timing is used for the 5K, and bag check is available for all participants. Unisex shirts can be purchased on site for $10.
The 5K course is routed through a suburban setting using lightly used roadways, sidewalks, and neighborhood asphalt trails. A hydration station is located along Teal at about the halfway point of the 5K route. Course support and intersection security are provided by the Beaverton Police Department. Awards include first-place medals in 11 male and 11 female age divisions for the 5K, medals for Para Athlete winners, and larger medals for the top three overall male and female 5K finishers. Official results are posted online. Online registration is available through August 29. On-site check-in and registration are available the morning of the event.
