Sutton Bank Sizzler

Night Race Sutton Bank Sizzler is a circular ~7-mile trail race from Sutton Bank Visitor Centre, Thirsk, with ~344m ascent. The route is glow-stick marked and marshalled for running in the dark; headtorches are compulsory and weather can be exposed. It’s cupless, with mandatory kit including a waterproof jacket, hat, gloves, survival bag, foil blanket, and race belt.

Registration is at the Sutton Bank Visitor Centre. Glow-sticks illuminate the course and marshals oversee navigation. Entry includes a medal and top-three prizes for each gender.
