Sussex Beacon Charity Relay 2027
The Sussex Beacon Charity Relay takes place as part of the 2027 Altra Brighton Half Marathon on 28 February 2027. The event is organised on behalf of the local charity The Sussex Beacon and is scheduled at Hove Lawns on Brighton seafront.
The half marathon course is described as fast and flat and runs past many of Brighton's iconic sights. The relay format is presented within the wider Altra Brighton Half Marathon event and is positioned early in the running calendar as one of the first major half marathons of the year.
Travel information notes that Brighton is served by a direct rail link from London and by the Eurostar service at St Pancras. The city is also accessible from the major ports of Dover, Portsmouth and Southampton as well as the local port of Newhaven. The start and finish are situated on Hove Lawns on the seafront.
