The course runs inside West Bank Park along the shore of Lake Lanier and offers a 360-degree view of the lake. The course is described as flat. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are given for Top 3 Overall M/F, Top 3 in Masters categories (including Grand Masters and Senior Masters), and Top 3 in 5-year age groups from 10 & Under to 75+.

Participation and logistics

Entry fees vary by registration period: preview, early bird, regular, late, and race day pricing are specified by the organizer. Virtual registration has its own pricing and closes before the event. Participants registered by January 28 are guaranteed race swag in their size; after that, swag is while supplies last.

Water stations will be available approximately every 1.5 miles. Packet pickup is held on race morning starting one hour before the event. The event supports RaceJoy for live phone tracking, GPS progress alerts, and in-app cheers; using RaceJoy requires carrying a phone and activating tracking. The Georgia Alliance for Breast Cancer is listed as the charity partner. Volunteer recruits who meet specified conditions may receive a $50 Visa gift card.
