Surf & Sun 5K Run - Tucson
The Surf & Sun 5K Run - Tucson takes place on February 15, 2026 at Michael Perry Park in Tucson, AZ 85710. The event offers in-person and virtual options with a 5 kilometer distance in multiple formats.
The course is described as flat and fast inside West Bank Park along the shore of the Rillito River and is noted for a continuous view of the river corridor. Water stations will be available approximately every 1.5 miles. RaceJoy mobile tracking is provided for live GPS progress alerts and remote spectator tracking; participants must carry a phone to use RaceJoy.
Every participant receives a custom finisher medal. Long-sleeve shirts are offered and participants registered by February 5 are guaranteed a shirt in their size; shirts after that date are subject to availability. Award categories for the 5K include top 3 overall male and female, top 3 in Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Masters divisions, and top 3 in five-year age groups from 10 and under through 75 and over.
A virtual 5K option allows participants to run remotely, submit a time by the end of race day, and receive a virtual package shipped the Monday after the event (shipping available to continental US only).
