Event overview
The SURF Board Popsicle 5K is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026 in Mocksville, NC. The event is organized by the Davie Community Foundation SURF Board to raise money for youth-led grants that benefit children and youth in Davie County. The 13th annual Popsicle 5K welcomes runners and walkers and is held at Mocksville Elementary, 295 Cemetery St., Mocksville, NC 27028.

Activities and services
The event includes family-focused activities such as a raffle ticket for each participant, a wintry costume contest, and a "Brain Freeze Challenge" that invites participants to eat popsicles at set points during the course. Children aged 8 and under who are not running will be supervised by SURF students while adults participate. Food and prize opportunities are available after the event. All participants must sign a waiver and pets are not allowed on the course.
Registration and awards
Event registration fees are listed as $25 for the 5K and $20 for the Zero K; additional tiered pricing and team and student discounts are published in the race information. The Zero K allows people to register at the door. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female and to the top three finishers in multiple age-group categories.
