Running of the Lights - Clemmons, NC
The Running of the Lights takes place on January 1, 2027 at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, North Carolina (7714 Idols Rd, Clemmons, NC 27012). The event routes participants on foot through the Tanglewood Festival of Lights, a holiday display normally open to vehicle traffic.
Participants can choose from several event formats:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Economy 5K Run/Walk
- 1.75 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- Economy 1.75 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- Virtual Fun Run or 5K
Registration includes a finisher medal, a custom race shirt, a New Year atmosphere with a celebratory toast, and a live stream of the Times Square Ball Drop at the start line. After the run there are hot chocolate and snacks and race photos are provided.
