Support Our Troops
The Support Our Troops event on October 17, 2026 is a community race at Wolfes Pond Park in Staten Island, New York. The event combines a run and a walk to honor military service and to mark the United States Semiquincentennial, America 250. It is dedicated to the memory of an individual whose service and community involvement are recognized by the organizers.
The event is presented with the race day theme America 250 - Honor • Service • Freedom. Participants are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue, carry American flags, and observe the event as a community commemoration of veterans and active duty service members. The Support Our Troops 5K serves as the second leg of the Staten Island Fall Trifecta series alongside the Church of St. Andrew 5K Steeplechase and the Richmond Rockets Halloween 5K.
