SuperHero SuperDash 5k & 10k
The SuperHero SuperDash is a chip timed running event held on paved paths in Rock Creek Park. The course is mostly flat with one considerable hill. The 5k is an out-and-back route and the 10k is two laps of the same course. A virtual race option is also offered for participants who cannot attend in person.
Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Spring Series. Race entries include a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. T shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before the stated cutoff date; additional shirts are available on a first come first served basis.

- 5 km : out-and-back on a paved route
- 10 km : two laps on a paved route
There are five water stations on the 10k course at approximately mile markers 0.6, 2.5, 3.1, 3.7, and 5.6, and two water stations on the 5k at about mile markers 0.6 and 2.5. Gatorade is available at some water stations. Restrooms are located across from the Tennis Center. Packet pickup is available at the event and participants are advised to arrive about one hour before their event start time.
The event benefits Paws for Purple Hearts. Live results are available online and via a QR code at the race; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race.
