Event
The SuperHero SuperDash is scheduled for April 25, 2026 at Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC (5220 16th St NW). The event offers both in-person and virtual options. Points from this race count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Spring Series. The event benefits Paws for Purple Hearts. Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (drifit) event shirt, and chip timing.
Course and logistics
The course is paved and mostly flat with one considerable hill. The 5k is an out-and-back course and the 10k is two laps. Distances offered:

- 10k
Water stations:
- 10k: five stations at approximately miles 0.6, 2.5, 3.1, 3.7, and 5.6.
- 5k: two stations at approximately miles 0.6 and 2.5. Gatorade will be available at some stations.
Additional details: packet pickup is available at the event; there will be no on-site race registration. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before April 15; extras may be available after that date on a first-come, first-served basis. Results are posted live and final results with series points are published after the race. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in standard age categories. The Back of the Pack time is 11:30; this is part of a series classification rather than a course cutoff. Parking is available at the Rock Creek Park Tennis Center.
