2027 SuperHero SuperDash 5k & 10k
The SuperHero SuperDash is scheduled for April 25, 2027, at Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC. The event offers two distances:
- 5k
- 10k
The course is paved and mostly flat with one considerable hill. The 5k is an out-and-back route; the 10k consists of two laps. Water stations are placed along both courses: five on the 10k at approximately mile markers 0.6, 2.5, 3.1, 3.7, and 5.6, and two on the 5k at about 0.6 and 2.5. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Restrooms are located across from the Tennis Center, which also provides nearby parking.
Participants receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (DriFit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed to those registered before April 14; extra shirts will be available after that on a first-come, first-served basis. Listed registration fees are: 5k $30 until April 15 then $35, and 10k $45 until April 15 then $50; prices increase on race morning by $5 per distance. There is a virtual race option.
Points from this event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Back of the Pack series, and the Spring Series. The Back of the Pack is a points series for runners who average slower paces and is not a course cutoff. Live results are posted on Athlinks and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Awards are given to the top 3 men and women overall and to age group placings; top 3 overall are not eligible for age group awards.
