Event overview
The Superb Owl Run is a set of live and virtual run/walk events held on the Clovis Trail behind California Health Sciences University in Clovis, CA (120 N. Clovis Ave). A virtual 5k option is available; participants can run anywhere and request shipping for a medal or shirt. Virtual results can be posted automatically with the RaceJoy app or submitted through the event website.

Fees, inclusions and awards
Entry fees vary by event; youth pricing applies for ages 1-12. Live event registration prices increase after January 12, 2026. Included for in-person participants: chip timing, a finisher's medal, coffee, hot cocoa, and a Frito Boat. A T-shirt is guaranteed for registrations before the stated cutoff date.
Age group awards are offered only for the Competitive 5k. Awards are 1st through 3rd place for male and female in these groups: 1-6, 7-10, 11-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Age group winners receive a “Superb Mug.” There are no age group awards for the fun runs.
