Super Speeder 5K
The Super Speeder event on July 18, 2026 takes place at Laurel Park, 3100 Cleveland Hwy, Gainesville, GA. The event supports the Shop with the Sheriff Children's Christmas program; 100% of proceeds go directly to the program and donations are welcomed.
Distances offered:
- Super Speeder 5K Run/Walk : 5K paved route along the shoreline of Lake Lanier.
- Fun Run : 1K out and back route for children.
- Super Speeder Virtual 5K : virtual participation option.
Registration opens February 1, 2026. Entry fees listed are $25 for the in person 5K, $15 for the 1K Fun Run, and $25 for the virtual 5K. Registration deadlines vary by event; the Fun Run registration closes June 30, 2026. To guarantee a race t-shirt register by June 15, 2026.
Race packets include a runner bib, drawstring bag, and a commemorative t-shirt. Packets may be picked up on race day or during early pickup at the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, with early pickup offered on July 16 and July 17. Race medals are awarded to finishers and awards are presented to the top male and female in each age group.
