Super Speeder 5K
The Super Speeder 5K is a community running event at Laurel Park in Gainesville, Georgia, with a paved course along the shoreline of Lake Lanier. The event includes in-person and virtual options and a separate kids fun run. It directly benefits the Shop with the Sheriff Children's Christmas program, with 100% of proceeds supporting the program; donations are also welcomed.

- 1K Kids Fun Run out-and-back
- Virtual 5K remote participation
Race packets include a runner bib, drawstring bag, and commemorative t-shirt. Medals are awarded to participants who complete the race. To guarantee a race t-shirt, register by June 22, 2026. Packets may be picked up on the day of the event or during early pickup days at the Hall County Sheriff's Office, 2859 Browns Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA.
Age group awards are presented to the top male and female in each category: Under 10; 10-15; 16-20; 21-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60+. The event also features local public safety and community units as part of the program, plus food vendors and spectator areas. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
