The inaugural SUPER HERO 5K is scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Cartersville, Georgia (1155 Douthit Ferry Rd.). The event supports Helping Hands for Bartow Kids (HHBK), a local organization that provides educational programs, healthcare initiatives, and social services for children in Bartow County. Entry for the listed event is priced at $30 and registration closes January 25, 2026.
Details
The race start and finish are located at the City of Cartersville Parks & Recreation Senior Aquatic Center at Sam Smith Park. The course uses the park’s rolling pathways and surrounding surface streets; organizers note there is construction in the park but have a plan for that. Packets will be available for pick up at Talk of the Town Salon (112 West Main Street) on the day before the race and on race day. Participants are asked to bring non-perishable food and hygiene products for the Allatoona Resource Center and Red Door Food Pantry. Runners are encouraged to wear superhero attire. Race swag is not guaranteed for those who register on race day. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, overall masters male and female, and medals to the top three in each age category (10 & under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 & over).
