Santa Claus For A Cause is a holiday-themed running event held Sunday, December 13, 2026, at Bolsa Chica State Beach, Lot 25 in Huntington Beach, California. The event features multiple distances and a family-oriented program of seasonal activities and awards.

The course runs along the beach and the morning includes falling artificial snow, live carolers, festive music, and a Santa available for photos. Participants receive chip-timed results for the 5K and 10K and can choose event swag: a full Santa suit, a Santa beanie, or a custom race shirt. Finishers receive a custom Santa-at-the-beach medal that doubles as a Christmas ornament.
Additional features include a holiday costume contest, a group warm-up called the Penguin Macarena, three-deep age-division awards in five-year increments from ages 1-10 through 85+, and prizes for Best Christmas Spirit, Best Costume, and Best Dressed Doggie. Food vendors serve items such as tamales, tacos, specialty coffee, cookies, and fresh fruit.
Logistics: registration and bib pick-up are available at Lot 25 with early pick-up listed as TBD. Lot 25 parking is $15 per vehicle (cash or state park pass recommended); drop-off is at Warner & PCH and free parking is available in Sunset Beach behind Jack in the Box.
