Sundown Trail Races
Sundown Trail Races is a six-race trail series at Anne Springs Close Greenway, Lake Haigler Entrance, in Fort Mill, SC (2573 Lake Haigler Drive, 29715). The series runs from May 6 to August 5, 2026, with races held on Wednesdays: May 6, June 3, June 17, July 8, July 22, and August 5.
Courses vary between 3–5 miles and combine single track and gravel road. Events are scheduled to run rain or shine; in the event of severe weather, races may be adjusted or canceled, with a make-up planned for the first Wednesday of September.
Registration is open online for individual races and the full series. Series registrations will not receive the event swag. Race day registration will also be available.
Prize structure includes door prizes at half of the events, where all participants are entered to win, and finishing awards at the other events. Series champions are determined by a points system using each participant’s four best finishes. Awards are planned for top male, top female, and the overall champion.
The event lists vendor supporters, including Echelon Fort Mill, Celenase Chiropractic Health and Performance, and Charlotte Running Company - Riverwalk.
