Sunderland City Runs : May 15 and 16, 2027
Sunderland City Runs is a two-day road running event held on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 May 2027. The weekend programme includes a Saturday 5K and several Sunday races on traffic-free city streets. The routes are described as fast and are classified as flat.

The first Sunderland City 10K took place in 2011 with just over 1,500 participants. Recent editions have welcomed over 5,000 participants across the city events.
