Sun Marathon
The Sun Marathon is a road running event in Santa Clara, in the St. George / Santa Clara area of southern Utah. The event offers four primary distance options:
- Full Marathon 26.2 miles
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- 10K 6.2 miles
- 5K 3.1 miles
The courses are described as primarily downhill over their distances, with some rollers and a few climbs. The full marathon route includes views of Gunlock Reservoir. Both the full and half marathon courses run alongside a river for portions of their routes. The surrounding landscape features large red rock mountains.
