Summerfest 5K Run/Walk & Kid's Fun Run
The event is a community running event held at the East Berlin Area Community Center in East Berlin, PA on July 18, 2026. It comprises a main 5K run and a Kid's Fun Run that includes puzzle obstacles and is recommended for ages 2 to 12. Medals are awarded for all 5K age groups and there are overall cash awards for the top three finishers in the 5K: 1st Place $150, 2nd Place $125, 3rd Place $100.
Registration options and fees are listed for each event. Early registration rates include options with a tech shirt or a pullover hoodie when entries are postmarked by specified deadlines; reduced fees apply without apparel and a higher fee applies for entries paid after July 1. In-person registration is available the day before and on race day. Packet and bib pick up are available on race day.
Additional event features include raffle and door prizes for runners and spectators, complimentary water bottles and towels at the finish line, post-race food during award presentations, and immediate race results via a timing link with later social media posting. Jogging strollers are permitted. The 5K uses standard age-group divisions from 14 and under through 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
