30th Annual Summerfest 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run
The event takes place on July 18, 2026 at the East Berlin Area Community Center, 405 North Avenue, East Berlin, PA 17316. It comprises a community 5K run and a Kid's Fun Run that includes puzzle obstacles and is recommended for ages 2 to 12. Prizes are provided for all participants in the kids event.

Registration opens March 1, 2026 and standard registration closes June 30, 2026. Early postmark options include a tech shirt for $35 or a pullover hoodie for $55 when postmarked by June 20. An early entry without apparel is listed at $25 when postmarked by June 30. A fee paid after July 1 is listed at $28 with no shirt or hoodie.
Packet and bib pick up is available on July 18. In person registration is available on July 17 and on July 18. Jogging strollers are permitted in the race.
Medals are awarded for all 5K age groups: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-80; 81 plus. Overall cash awards are listed as 1st place $150, 2nd place $125, and 3rd place $100. Raffle and door prizes are planned for runners and spectators. Complimentary water bottles and towels will be available at the finish line and post race food is provided during award presentations.
