Experience the stunning north Cornwall coast at sunset on this trail running event. Choose between the new Long 10 or the out-and-back half marathon, both featuring coastal paths and required head torches. All participants receive a medal while supporting the Cornwall Air Ambulance.

Summer Sunset Half & Long 10
The Summer Sunset Half & Long 10 is a trail running event on the north coast of Cornwall. The event supports the Cornwall Air Ambulance. It takes place on Saturday, 11th July 2026.
The Long 10
- This is a new distance for 2026.
- The start point is the Bowgie Inn at Crantock.
- The finish point is Perranporth Surf Lifesaving Club.
- Runners must carry a head torch and a mobile phone. They are also advised to carry fluid.
- Registration is at the Bowgie Inn from 7pm.
- There is a finish cut-off at 10:15pm.
Sunset Half Marathon
- The start point is Perranporth beach.
- The course is an out-and-back route to the Bowgie Inn at Crantock on the coastal path.
- There is a checkpoint at the turnaround point with fluid and sugary snacks.
- The Bowgie Inn will be open for drinks and food for supporters.
- There is a 4-hour overall cut-off and a 2-hour cut-off to reach the turnaround checkpoint.
- Runners must carry a head torch.
- Registration is at Perranporth Surf Lifesaving Club from 5pm.
- The finish point is back at Perranporth Surf Lifesaving Club, with a 10:15pm cut-off.
- There are limited toilets at the club; runners are asked to use the toilets in the main beach car park.
All runners receive a medal, and there are awards for top finishers. Personalized race bibs are available if a runner enters at least one week before the event.
