Summer Sunset Half & Long Ten 2026
The event takes place on 11 July 2026 in Perranporth, Cornwall. It supports Cornwall Air Ambulance, with optional donations available at entry. The organisers are Purple Gecko Events. The event uses the north Cornwall coast path between Perranporth and the Bowgie Inn at Crantock.

The Half is an out-and-back route between Perranporth and the Bowgie Inn. The Long 10 follows the coast from the Bowgie Inn to Perranporth Beach. The Half has a 4 hour overall cut off and a 2 hour cut off at the turnaround point. The Long 10 has a 2 hour cut off.
There is a feed station or checkpoint at the halfway/turnaround point with fluids and sugary snacks. All competitors receive a medal and there are awards for top finishers. The event offers GPS tracking, free race photography, and charity places. Runners are required to carry a mobile phone and fluid, and head torches are listed as essential for this event. Race registration takes place at the Bowgie Inn for the Long 10 and at Perranporth Surf Lifesaving Club for the Half. Registration closes on 30 June 2026.
