Summer Speed Fest at Brighton High School
Summer Speed Fest is a community track meet held at Brighton High School Track in Rochester, NY. The program includes multiple track events across sprint, middle-distance, relay, and a youth fun run. Distances and event types include:
- 400m Dash
- 1 Mile
- 4x400m Relay
- Invitational 5,000m Race
- Kids 100m Dash (up to age 6)
Registration opens April 20 and closes June 11. Standard registration fee for listed adult events is $30; the Kids 100m Dash is free. One registration fee may cover entry in multiple events when participants provide predicted or recent times for each event. Participants who register by May 25 are guaranteed receipt of a giveaway with their entry.
The 4x400m Relay requires four people per team; teams may be mixed or single gender and only one person needs to complete registration for the team. The Invitational 5,000m Race is restricted to entrants who can provide a qualifying time or comparable performance and the field is capped at 18 runners.
Each participating athlete will receive a giveaway. Prizes are planned for top finishers in specified events, including 1st through 3rd places in overall/open and masters divisions for selected races.
