Summer Sizzler - Lansing
Summer Sizzler takes place on August 30, 2026 at Burchard Park, 220 E Maple St, Lansing, MI. The event includes multiple in-person running distances and a virtual race option.
Distances and event types:
- Kid's Dash - untimed for ages 10 and under; mini bib, youth shirt, medal
- 1 Mile - untimed; includes designer shirt and finisher medal
- 5K - chip timed race; registration includes custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal
- 10K - chip timed race; registration includes custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal
- 15K - chip timed race; registration includes custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal
- Virtual - run anywhere; virtual registration includes event swag
- Volunteer then Run - volunteer shift then run any distance; arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup
Additional event details include chip timing with live results and awards, free photos, and treats at the finish line, including Kona Ice. Youth pricing for the 5K and 10K is listed at $17 for ages 12 and under. A team refund system refunds $5 per member once four people join a team and refunds an additional $5 once ten people register, for a total refund of $10 per team member.
