Race details, awards, and logistics
Timed races use chip timing with live results and awards. The 5k, 10k, and 15k include age-group awards: Male and Female Overall, Male and Female Masters (40+), and top three Male and Female in multiple five-year and broader age categories. Kid's Dash, 1-Mile, and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age-group awards.
Registered participants in the 5k/10k/15k receive a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash include corresponding shirts and medals; children may run the Kid's Dash without receiving swag for free. The virtual option includes a digital bib, mailed shirt and medal, and shipping; virtual packets ship the Wednesday after the race. Packet pickup is available on race day beginning 90 minutes before the race. The event offers free photos, Kona Ice at the finish, and an optional Beach Party Challenge with a special challenge pin.
