Summer Sizzler - Cincinnati
The Summer Sizzler is an annual running event held at Sawyer Point Park on E Pete Rose Way in Cincinnati. This summer race offers multiple distances and event types to accommodate different participants, including options for children and those participating remotely.
The event features several race distances:
- Kid's Dash (for children ages 10 and under)
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K
- 15K
- Virtual Race (run at any location)
Participants in the 5K, 10K, and 15K receive chip-timing with live results and awards. Registration for these distances includes a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a custom finisher medal. The 1 Mile option is untimed but provides the same swag items.
The Kid's Dash is a short, untimed event for children 10 and under. Registered participants receive a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specialized medal. Children may also participate in the dash for free if they do not require the shirt or medal.
Post-race amenities at the venue include free photos, snacks at the finish line, and Kona Ice. There is also a "Volunteer then Run" option where participants can assist with event setup before running a distance of their choice at a lower registration fee.
