Summer Session 10k & 5k
The Summer Session 10k & 5k is scheduled for June 27, 2026 in Hendersonville, North Carolina, with the host location at Trailside Brewing at Lennox Station. Both race courses start in front of Trailside Brewing and follow the Ecusta Trail as out-and-back routes. The Ecusta Trail is a converted rail greenway.

- 10 km out-and-back on the Ecusta Trail
- 5 km out-and-back on the Ecusta Trail
- Sunshine Kids Sprint, 0.25 mile untimed event
- Virtual 5k/10k option with mailed shirt, medal, and bib (US shipping only)
Standard race registration for the 10k and 5k includes a commemorative race shirt, a finisher medal, and a Trailside beer for entrants 21 and older or an alternative beverage. A portion of race proceeds will be donated to the Mills River Partnership.
Awards include Fleet Feet Asheville gift certificates for overall top finishers and masters categories, and Trailside Brewing pint glasses for top three finishers in each age group. Age groups cover ranges from 0-14 up to 80 and up.
The event organizer maintains a no refund policy and does not allow deferrals. Transfers to another runner or to a virtual entry are permitted up to five days before the event; after that timeframe a transfer fee or packet pickup arrangements apply.
