2026 Summer Session 10k & 5k
The event takes place on June 27, 2026, at Trailside Brewing, 873 Lenox Park Dr, Hendersonville, NC. Both the 10 km and 5 km courses start at Trailside Brewing and are routed entirely on the Ecusta Trail greenway as out and back courses.
Distances offered:
- 10 km out and back on the Ecusta Trail
- 5 km out and back on the Ecusta Trail
- 0.25 mile Sunshine Sprint untimed kids event, medal and bib included
The Ecusta Trail is described as a newly transformed greenway that was originally a rail line. A kids Sunshine Sprint is scheduled before the main events; the sprint is untimed, costs $10, and includes a finisher medal and a race bib. There are no awards for the Sunshine Sprint.
Race registration includes a finisher medal, one beer from Trailside or a nonalcoholic beverage, a race shirt, and chip timing. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to the Mills River Partnership. The event is listed under road race and related event categories.
