Summer Session 10K and 5K
The event takes place on June 26, 2027, at Trailside Brewing in Hendersonville, NC, with courses routed entirely on the Ecusta Trail greenway. Both the 10 km and 5 km races are out-and-back courses that use the new greenway, which was converted from a former rail line.
A children's Sunshine Sprint covers 0.25 mile and is an untimed event. The Sunshine Sprint entry is $10 and includes a finisher medal and race bib; there are no awards for that sprint.
Race registration includes a finisher medal, one beer from Trailside or a nonalcoholic beverage, a race shirt, and chip timing. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to the Mills River Partnership. Registration opens on December 1.
